Sometimes you’ve got to do something different if you want a different outcome. Sometimes the side roads and alleyways are the path to your destination. Sometimes the resources you need are not in the places you’d expect.
Many of us have those hopes, dreams, and goals we dare not utter to another soul for fear of ourntiny flame being ousted. Perhaps your closest family member, spouse, or best friend may hear whispers of your deep desires and hidden wishes. Sometimes there isn’t another person you trust with the tiny dream in its infancy. Sometimes you are the only one that can fan your flame while holding a little umbrella to protect it from the doubtful downpour.
There are times when it feels as though we are the only ones in our corner with this gut feeling that we must protect and pursue our dream. Your dream may take you off of the well lit path into the dark dim terrsin. You may be unsure of your footing but your dream grows brighter lighting your path. One day when your flame shines bright you may look back and see others making their way down the trail you blazed.
I haven’t done a review in a while. Recently I was stumbled upon this website called Appgeyser. Appgeyser allows you to create a variety of apps from games to chat messenger apps without coding or needing any special skills. It is quite simple to use. You simply select the type of app you’d like to create and enter any necessary information and/or customizations.
You can save, share, and even monetize your apps by selling it on different android marketplaces or in-app advertisements (As long as your app is following the rules of Appgeyser and the individual marketplaces).
I created a few different apps using Appgeyser. Overall I was dissapointed. In my opinion and experience the apps were either very generic, malfunctioned, or just poor quality. Several times the apps would malfunction especially some of the games apps. Getting the apps onto different android marketplaces was a bit of a hassle especially when some marketplaces wanted further information in terms of proving the app was yours. The FAQ section of the website wasn’t very helpful outside of the basics of using the site.
I liked that they give you the option to monetize. Creating an app takes minutes and you can save and edit your apps. You can also download and test your apps.
The process of submitting your app to the android marketplaces they provided was time consuming. However this was an issue I had with the individual marketplaces not the site itself.
If you are just looking to try your hand at some quick and easy android apps for personal use with you and your friends. This site is ok for those purposes. If you are looking to actually monetize your apps and have more creative control beyond the scope of the websites tools I would not recommend this site.
I would recommend this site for those that have the skills needed to develop, monetize, or modify an android app. This site may serve as a crude starting point. Overall, the simple apps that worked were fine. I had my greatest issue with getting the app onto other marketplaces. Perhaps others will have a better experience than I have.
Let me know below if you have ever tried using Appgeyser.
Have you ever had those dreams where everything is so vivdlid it could almpst be real? Those dreams always interest me. I tend to remember them a little better than most dreams. I often will replay the portions I remember and try to deduce some kind of meaning. Do You ever have dreams that repeat and progress over the years? I’ve had a couple. It’s weird it’s like watching an episode of a show you’ve seen before. You recognize the setting and characters, but this time you’re seeing part of the next episode as well. When you wake up you lay there pondering what could have contributed to such a dream.
There he was. The wind blows gently shifting each lock of hair. The sun shines down upon his face. His eyes so gentle yet cold. He’d lost her; the one that meant so much. His heart was fragile and on the verge of collapsing. Why did she leave him? What had he done? He had hoped to give her his soul, the moon, and the sun. She was the comfort that filled the night. She was the warmth on a winter’s day. Oh, how he remembered the way she’d walk with that alluring sway. The lips he used to touch were no longer there. He missed that fruity smell of her long hair.
He stared at the table in disbelief. There lay her keys to the apartment. She lived there no more. Her toothbrush was gone; not even a hair in drain. She’d erased her presence from his home. There was no letter. There was no goodbye. She simply was not there when he awoke. He tried to call but her number had changed. What could this be ? How could she just leave? Did his heart mean nothing? Last night she said she loved him, but now it’s just a lie. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a box. Tonight was the night he was going to give her this ring. He threw it on the table next to the keys. He wished he could throw his heart onto that table. He didn’t want to feel this. He didn’t ask for this. Where was she now? He wanted to know. Where was the girl he used to know?
Just some more practice.
Peek at the random panzerotti I threw together one day. I used whatever was in my cupboard at the time. It was a holiday so the stores were closed. It was tasty regardless of the random ingredients. Luckily I took some photos. It essentially turned out looking like a giant round bread bowl except it was covered in cheese and filled with deliciousness. I lost the standalone photo of the final product but you can see some of it in the last picture in the bottom right.
She stands there unaware of the glow around her. The magnificence that encapsulsted her very being; her smile that lights the room is the essence that fills him. Her mind entriged him. Her words engulfed him. The beauty of her presence invoked the singing of his heart strings. She was fire. She was love. He could not leave without her. He had to know her name. What was it? Her words were like silk upon his lips. He wanted more. She stood there in all her glory. His soul stirred and his eyes affixed upon her. The thump of his beating heart hastened. He stood up. He had to approach her. He had to know the name of this wondrous being of light. She stood upon the stage. Her gaze focused on the crowd. He brushed past all on the onlookers. He stood at her feet. An ethereal blessing released from her lips. It filled the room with calming joy. Oh how he longed to be the mic stand between her fingers.
The music faded and the lights dimmed. She cast her eyes down upon him with a smile. His eyes met hers. Her smile sending an electric shock down his spine. She mouthed hello over the roar of the crowd and applause. He managed to crack a smile. She stretched out her hand and he took hold of it. This light–no this flame that had entered his life hopped down off of the stage. Her hair flowing and bouncing gracefully. The light shimmering off of every curl and coil. He held her hand for a few more moments. Security guards quickly surrounded them. She motioned for them to relax. He smiled and said “Hello”straining to speak over the crowd. She smiled and motioned for him to follow her. She grabbed his hand once more as her security made a way through the crowd. Who was this angelic woman?
Aiden had come to this club on a whim. His friends were late, as usual, and he walked in just as this mystery woman was about to perform. The security led them through a pair of heavy double doors. They walked down a green corridor and arrived at her dressing room. The gold plated letters on the door read Leila. His heart began racing as he stepped into the room.
He cleared his throat and said “I really loved your performance. It was very moving”.
She smiled and said “Thank you. I’m Leila by the way”.
“That’s a beautiful name. I’m Aiden.”
“Aiden. I like that. I saw you in the front row. You looked like you really understood my music. I hope you don’t mind me bringing you back here so suddenly. It’s just so hard to speak with crowds of people yelling. It’s been so long since I’ve met someone that really enjoyed my music. Half of those people probably don’t know who I am. I was just the replacement act since the original band couldn’t make it. I’m sorry if I’m overloading you with information. I don’t know. I just feel comfortable speaking to you I guess”. She smiled as she removed her earrings.
Aiden tried to control the smile emerging on his face. “Well to be honest Leila tonight was the first night I’ve heard your music. I was just blown away by you–your music I mean.” Aiden’s cheeks flushed. He shoved his hands into his pocket hoping Leila did not see his face. He looked down at his shoes.
“Well thank you for your honesty. Hey, if you’re not busy, do you want to grab a bite to eat? I don’t know about you but I am starving!” Leila said as she sat at her vanity removing make-up.
Aiden watched as Leila removed her jewelry. Her skin was smooth and dark. It appeared as if would glow in the moonlight. It was a stark contrast to his fair skin. He looked at her glowing just as brightly as when he’d first layed eyes on her. There was just something about her that radiated. He he was drawn to her presence. “I’m not busy at all. I’d love to grab some food”. Aiden said as he patted his pocket looking for his phone.
Leila stood up from her vanity. “Awesome. Okay, let me just change out of these clothes and then we can head out”. Leila picked up a bag and went into her private bathroom.
Aiden took the opportunity to quickly text his friends. “You guys go ahead without me (whenever you actually show up). I have plans of my own.” Aiden hit send and put his phone back into his pocket.
Leila walked out of the bathroom. The scent of strawberries filled the air. Aiden adjusted his collar. Leila was wearing a knee length form-fitting black dress with ankle high boots. Aiden swallowed as he reminded himself to not let his jaw drop.
Leila smiled. “Our chariot should be outside my good sir,” Leila bowed and chuckled, “This venue let me have the limo and driver until the morning. So lets enjoy it thoroughly.” Leila grabbed Aiden’s hand. “I’ll lead the way. I’m guessing you haven’t been back here before. I hope you have a big appetite”.
Aiden blushed as he felt the heat of her hands on his. They walked down the empty hallway.
